What's new page - all 5 categories "new" -> misaligned page

it looks to me like each tab widens by 24 pixels when it has the "new" icon.

#4 Confirm (FF user) - have seen this bug.
same with the bottom parts (headers for News/Resources/etc... and Jobs/Projects/Developers)

#5 Which versions of FF are you running? I'm looking at it on 2.0.0.11 and it appears fine (XP and Vista).

#6 I've seen this across a couple versions of FF. The original post was FF 2.something, and i saw it yesterday in FF 3 beta 2.

#8 Orion, I got this error once a few days ago, playing with changing the ip address to domain (and viceversa) to access the site, but just dissapeared on reloading.

It could be you, reaching a bad cached page, or even some cookies/cache issue on your own PC.
I would try to access GarageGames through some webproxy (ie: http://www.hidemyass.com/), and even clear the cache and cookies from firefox, just to confirm that its not that easy ;)

does anyone have a screenshot of what the site should look like when all five blog categories have a "new" icon on them ?

#10 Mhh I see what your point is; you dont get mine though. Nope, I cant even remember if I saw that, but I think the "new" icon thing is NOT working well. I tried different accounts, different hosts, tried without login, and couldnt find a concrete pattern on when is actually shown and when its not. So I believe we could have two problems here:

1) the "new" icon seems to not have a proper behaviour.
2) It seems like when all the tabs have the "new" icon, the site got screwed (?)

So for the moment, you could see if cleaning the cookies, the site stops showing all the five icons for you (if thats the case anyway, there again, I dont know if thats something you suffer always, or just from time to time)

#11 If for some time I don't visit GG site and there are posts from all: GG devs/assocs/users - I see all five tabs with "New" mark. That's just a bug in HTML/CSS layout. They don't feet into the space. Simply.

#12 Well, not exactly as that, for instance there are many new blogs every day, and I rarely see the "new" icon there.

#13 I'm on so frequently that I rarely ever have five new things, so that's probably why I never see it.

#14 I'm on pretty much continuously and see it once a month or so.
