maybe Jeff tunell can help me here

I had this problem with the HEAD version too. everytime I try to recompile the engine after i've played the demo, i get an error saying scan.cc can't be found, but i can fix it by moving a copied file of scan.cc to the console file where it belongs. then after I run the example it is not there when i recompile. I believe something is deleting it and i need to know what it is and how to fix it. have you heard of this before. anyone?
