Considering

I am considering buying either Torque 1.5.2 or Advanced. I found a page that stated that Torque 1.5.2 comes with ShowTool Pro? Is this so? Does Torque Advanced also have it?

Hey there,

Yes TGE 1.5 does ship with a bundled STP but unfortunately TGEA does not :( .

Depending what sort of game you are making should dictate what engine you should get.

Be aware that though TGEA is @ version 1.03, it lack's some of the functionality that TGE currently has.
This is being worked on though and TGEA does do lots of things very nicely :)

Also STP is based upon TGE so you cannot view shader's in it yet.

But saying that, it is worth the money as its great for debugging models and viewing animations etc.

I believe you can actually get both products for the price you pay for TGEA.

TGEA: $295
or
TGE 1.5.x: $150
+TGEA upgrade: $145

Or you could just start with TGE and later upgrade to 'advanced'.
