I am just curious what people shoot for when modeling for Torque for the following items:
Melee weapon(ie Knife, sword, bat, etc):
Ranged Weapons(ie. Guns, etc.):
Simple objects(ie. simple furniture, etc.):
Complex objects:
Primary Characters:
Secondary Characters:

That is exactly what I was looking for, ballpark( a where to start so I dont bog the engine down with a 10000 poly item.Thanks,

It's hard to tell you what poly count to shoot for because your really the only one who knows exactly what your shooting for. Good graphics? Smooth game-play? But here are some pretty general ball park figures:
Complex objects: 200+
Simple objects: 50-200
Primary Characters: 1,500 - 2,500
Secondary Characters: 800 - 1,500
