For some reason i cant load into the starter fps game on dedicated server mode, it loads all the way up to lighting mission and then half way through that is says this on the server:

What was the path used to start the dedicated server?

TorqueDemo.exe -game starter.fps -dedicated -mission starter.fps/data/missions/stronghold.mis

Edit the mission file and search for Unnamed see what results you bring up.

I think the problem is that you have the -game starter.fps argument in there, and it's over-riding the -dedicated flag.

What version of Torque are you running? That is most certainly not executing a dedicated server--servers don't render, don't receive ghost objects, and won't be looking for textures.I think the problem is that you have the -game starter.fps argument in there, and it's over-riding the -dedicated flag.

I never said that the server was rendering anythang, that text is from the console. Also i reinstalled the whole SDK (i have 1.5.2), and it still dosnt work. I tryed to take out the -game starter.fps arg but that dosnt work either.

You're right there Stephen. If you added -game -dedicated in the same line would it use both or just the first one it sees?

They way the arguments work is the -game one spesifies the game folder, then the -dedicated dose as it says. It shouldn't make a difference if you have bolth, and ive also tryed taking -game out and it didnt work.

Did you search the mission file for unnamed ? See if there is a reference to it in there that is no longer there anymore.

Well i do have good new, it work on other missions, but for some reason it just dosnt work on stronghold, also i checked stronghold and i couldnt find any unnamed stuff.

Why remains to be seen, as removing the suspect line didn't seem to fix your problem.
What version of TGE are you running?

Lighting only occurs on the client side of the equation. If you were truly running a dedicated server, the client portion of the equation never even loads, and mission lighting should never happen, which points to it not in fact actually running a dedicated server. Why remains to be seen, as removing the suspect line didn't seem to fix your problem.
What version of TGE are you running?

Sorry for the confusion.

Im running 1.5.2 and what i meant was that when the client gets to lighting then it says that stuff that i posted in my first post in the dedicated server console.Sorry for the confusion.

Ok, that helps--so what does the console.log say on the client? And what exactly happens on the client--crash, freeze, ??
