Installation issues

Hi folks - my apologies if this isn't the proper place to post, but Torque support has sent me in the direction of the forums and this is the only one that looks appropriate.

I've downloaded the basic demo version of the game builder engine and tried to install it twice. I'm running a Dell machine with Windows XP, 1G of ram and a decent processor. Got plenty of disk space and a good clean internet connection.

The product installs without a complaint, even checks for and downloads an update. Once it's installed however, I can't get it to start. I click to start it up, it pegs my processor at around 98% utilization (via Task Manager) but never starts. I can't even end the process. I have to turn off the power to the machine to kill it.

I sent a note to support and they said to post the topic in the forums, so here it is. I'd really like to check out the software, so if anyone has figured out this problem or has an idea, please let me know.

Thanks in advance.

Generally that sort of "error" means you either don't have a video card capable of supporting OpenGL correctly (very old or built into the motherboard for example) or that you have not gone to the video card manufacturer's website and installed their latest drivers (the ones that come with Windows rarely works).
