Internet Hi-scores table

Hi!
I'm doing a little project (my first one in TGB). It has an arcade style and the whole point of the game is to keep playing as long as possible. So a very important feature is the high-scores table, as there is basically no point in playing without one. I already coded one based on a tutorial I found here (well, I'm still struggling because I can use it but not save it, but I'll post that on a more appropriate forum). So I was wondering if it's possible to get the high-scores to a table in my site. Any idea/suggestion on how to do this?
By the way, I don't have much knowledge about networking, so if there's something I should learn, a link to a tutorial would be great. Also, I don't have the full version of TGB, so I'm hoping it can be done without modifying the source code.
Thanks for your help!
