Videoplay

I want to play videos when ever required by calling a simple function.The video plays fine when played in the begining .but creates a trouble in the middle.When again asked to playvideo file it plays in a new window called active movie window.But this window was not at all created by me any where.Can any one say whats happening and how this active movie window is being created.
