Watched Threads ?

Allrighty
There is a reason for me notching off those little boxes, the reason is interest in the topic, great interest.
But in case there is no replies in the thread, and I would like to re-read the thread (due to me remembering about it, and needing a refreshment) I would like to go there...
But on the front page theres only 12 of those shown, and theres no link to 'all my notified posts' as there is to some of the other stuff like ressources. I tried to find it using search, and roamed all over...
But either I'm dumb, blind or the feature is simply not around.
Anyone got info as how I get them all listed ?

I too have many threads that I've set to watch over the years, but many I've not posted in either because I wanted to stay on top of the conversation or I wanted to refer to it sometime in the future, or just wanted to see where the conversation goes. Its far too laborious to dig up a thread that you remember held a good idea or theory from several months, or years, ago, especially with how unreliable the search has been in the past year.
All I want is a link in my account that displays all watched threads including resources.

I thought about that too recently, and yes I figured that all watched threads displaying in the tab would just as useless since those windows have no scrollbars. Im not asking for 1 gazillion threads to pop up, merely for the website admins to allow me the possibliity to go see those I did notch off. That is called usability improvement, and adding that little link on the last 2 rows of the 12 totally unneeded listed on the site would harm no ones nice little dinner lookover would it.

Dosent matter if you have 30, or 1000000+ as all its about is a little link as the other sub parts have.Im not asking for 1 gazillion threads to pop up, merely for the website admins to allow me the possibliity to go see those I did notch off. What about bookmarking the thread? Create a Bookmarks (or Favorites) folder called "GG Watched Threads" to keep them all in one place, and make sure you login to GG before you try to read the private threads.

That's really not a good solution. Especially for people like me who work both at the office and at home. I have many threads bookmarked, and most of them are different on multiple computers.

That's too bad. I guess it's easier for me: my work computer blocks GG (it's a "gaaaames" site) so i can only read the forums on my lappy.

I recently discovered del.icio.us, an online bookmark manager. I recently changed computers at the office, and subsequently found out that importing bookmarks is a giant pain in the ass with Firefox. So, now I'm using this to store my bookmarks and I can get to all my bookmarks no matter where I am.
Of course, it still does me little good for those threads that I set to watch but never posted in. Hopefully GG will change change that one day.

I thought I'd pop back in here with an interim solution, well sort of, until GG ever changes it to allow to view all our watched thread.I recently discovered del.icio.us, an online bookmark manager. I'm assuming the current forums were developed in-house...there's got to be a forum package out there that would be easy enough to transition to and that would provide some basic functionality that we're lacking now. Most of these forum feature requests are for basic features that people are perfectly reasonable in expecting.
Heck, I'd love to be able to search a single forum instead of having to use -this and -that all the time.

All the more reason these forums need to be moved to something more mainstream.I'm assuming the current forums were developed in-house...there's got to be a forum package out there that would be easy enough to transition to and that would provide some basic functionality that we're lacking now. I agree, the watched threads tab is entirely useless as it is. I brought this point up back when the site went through its upgrades, but nothing changed and I've just learned to live with it. It would be nice if there was a listing of watched threads though.
