RTS For 1.5.2??

Can anyone tell me whether there will be a version of the RTS kit for TGE 1.5.2?

I am still relitively new and I wanted to buy the RTS kit to help get me started with point and click, object selection and camera modes.

I tried to purchase the kit but it won't let me because I dont have TGE 1.4...

    There is a patch in the RTS forums that will get it up and running (relatively painless) with TGE 1.5.2. As far as it not letting you buy it, you need email GarageGames by using the support link at the top and they'll fix this for you. Its a website bug that's existed since the 1.5 release. They'll get you fixed up fairly quickly.

    Mark you should also be aware that GG are not supporting future versions of the RTS kit beyond 1.3 at the moment, so although there is a patch for 1.5 in the forums it's something patched by the community which may become harder and harder to get newer versions over time.

    Thanks guys. I still feel that the kit will be worth it even if it does become hard to implement, because hopefully by that time I will understand the engine better...

    I will buy it at some point today and let you know how I got on while patching it. :)

    Feel good to know about new people everyday intrested on the kit. Eventually this will lead to a fresh view of it from GG.

    The patch went fine, I now have RTS working in TGE 1.5.2!!! It was my first rebuild of torque, so I am pleased that I got it to work within an hour. :)

    I think its pretty sad that the RTS kit is for sale on GG. I think if your going to sell a product like RTS kit it should require the people to update it.

    I'm not trying to start anything or saying anything bad about companies (its just my opinion).
