An Apology

To the community and GarageGames,
First things first and I'd like to apologise for my behaviour. Yes, it was highly immature for my age and yes it was unrespectful to the forums and its policies as well as to members of this community.
I'd like to apologise to Randy Zich aka Lukie aka Luke Zich aka some other accounts. I am sorry for being so nasty to you and cursing you so much. I've done it as a response of your constant thread bumping, spam posting, useless posts and annoying us all. You aren't the first, I can assure you. The first time around was with Luke (aka go figure how many accounts) who had driven so many of us off these forums to new ones. Take into account GarageGames' poor response, no moderation etc and you can see why we were so mean to you... because you were just like him and GarageGames had dealt with this matter the same way with Luke... uselessly. However, I'm sorry for cursing you and hoping you will, however, turn out for the better.
To Stephen Zepp, I'd also like to apologise for my immature behaviour as well but also note that you didn't take the full story into account, which saddens me. The lack of knowing how it all started is disappointing and thus you were, in my opinion, too biased. As you yourself said, you were being prejudging. I am not in these forums a forum leader, nor I recognise myself as one neither does GarageGames recognise me as such. I'm simply here to help people but after the Luke incident I had left to my own new forums with so many other people. I've given to the best of the community powers to moderate the community's behaviour in that forum.
The fact I'm still around here (even though not actively posting anymore) should show to you I still care about these forums despite everything. However, if I see that you care not about it, I may as well leave these forums for good like the rest of us.
To the rest of the community, I'd also like to apologise for my behaviour but also request that it's best to learn why it all happened in the first place before judging me.

Lukie/Luke Zich/Randy Zich/everything else, I am sorry too. You realize though, you did kind of ask for it. You gave us a reason for wanting to move, and we wanted to provoke you to move. I now realize that that was wrong, and we shouldn't be trying to get you to leave. However, I see the similarities between you and Luke Skywalker (besides the name). You both were bumping topics, multiple accounts, and useless posts. We just wanted to avert another Luke situation. Hopefully, this apology will siffice.

I agree with Matan on one point, you did appear to have a biased point of view. And now, I would like to revive the three options that we used with Luke:
All three of these should be considered. Also, believe it or not, you do know me. I was formerly known as Tech Geek.
Also, I have decided to stop actively posting here. I used to try to help new members, and try to help Randy Zich, but I have given up on this. For the past couple of months, I have been actively trying to get Randy zich to stop doing things that we have already told him not to do. Not only does he not stop, but he does not stop after we tell him not to.
Even though I have posted a lot above about what to do with RZ/LZ, I am sorry everybody.

Following procedures from other forums I can assure that issuing a warning would be a good idea and stops most of the people from repeating "spamming" offenses. A second time would vary on different communities. Some would warn again, some would suspend the user's account for a day. The third time would still be a bigger warning with another suspension, but this time for a longer time. Eventually, the forum can suspend the account for a certain amount of time and if the user does not learn his/her lesson, a ban would be in place.
A second solution is appointing a certain member as a 'mini-moderator' who would report the ongoings of the forums and describe any problems that had occured or issues that rise. This way GarageGames could more easily help the community with their needs at lower effort.
A third solution is appointed a GarageGames employee to look more closely at the Marble Blast community and the ongoing of the posts. Almost every topic has Luke in it.

For the record, I actually do know almost all of the background, as well as having spent more than 2 hours spot checking your recent history (as well as the other offender in that thread) and the general community "sense" over the last few months to attempt to determine the back-story regarding what happened before I moderated the thread.
I will say that GG always has been aware of the issues regarding this particular set of sub-forums, but have not in the past been in a position to resolve the issues, but that we are actively researching options to avoid and manage issues like this in a more frequent manner for the future.
