Problem with Torque books accompaning CD

Dear Forums,
I have a Mac and I have TGE 1.5 and I bought the book that teaches you Torque programming.
So I am at pg. 72 and it is asking me to copy of MazeRunner/Lesson_001/HeightFields into MazeRunner/prototype/data
and so I am trying to drag it into the data window and it isn't letting me saying "that the data file can not be modified!"
Then it wants me to open the MazeRunner mission and when I try it says "Mission can not be opened because there is
no default application to open it." and it gives me the option of choosing application or canceling (this happens quite a few times on my Mac) so I try to choose application nothing works. And then lastly when I try to copy the contents
of the CD in to my applications a window pops up saying it can't cause I dont have certain privaledges to some contents in the folder. Its my CD! I should have unlimited privilages to it! It may be because that CD is only for Windows users. Because alot of times I have tried to open a folder and it wouldn't let me. I would appreciate any help.

Christopher, if you're still listening to this thread:

- You can get info on the CD (select the CD in the file browser, and click the Get Info icon) and uncheck the "privileges" option for the CD.

- You can't copy files around on a CD. Just copy the whole Mazerunner folder from the CD to your hard drive, and then you drag and copy stuff as you wish. If permissions are a problem, get info on the MazeRunner folder on your hard drive, and change the permissions so that you have full access.

Also, I think the book's forum has a thread on Mac issues. Check the forum listing for the book's forum.
