Constuctor 1.0.3 missing inside
by Adam Wilson · in Constructor · 08/15/2007 (6:43 am) · 9 replies
All right so I set up the room on my building thought I would try and export out using 1.0.3.. it works and at first look it looks like it works but as soon as you step into the zoned area that area disappears on me (doesn't render).. it is like the visibility is doing the opposite for rendering.

I don't know what is making this happen the same file exported out from 1.0.2 works just fine the only reason I am trying to get 1.0.3 Export to Dif is to get the ambient light to stop coming into my interior.

This only happens when using contructor 1.0.3. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

I don't even get the purple screen like that I get nothing but the ghosting affect the X axis portals ( don't know what else to call them) will do and still no word from them on that issue as well..

- I tested the same .map in 103 and in 102, using 1.0.2 of TGEA both times. Worked fine when I used 102 of constructor so.. dunno. I'll make a basic interior and get it to ya tonight.

Why I have you on the this post Matt could the missing interior be related any way to the bad portals and ghosting (pimp a post that never got answered)...www.garagegames.com/mg/forums/result.thread.php?qt=66044

feature it "fixed" the problem and after a new export I was able to see the inside of the building in TGEA.
Again I have no idea if this will actually help in anyway or if it was just a "random fluke" but making the walls thicker seemed to fix it for me.

Not sure if this helps any but I had this same thing happen to a building I was making and decided to try some random experimentation. What "Seemed" to fix it was making the walls slightly thicker... by changing the dimensions in the Again I have no idea if this will actually help in anyway or if it was just a "random fluke" but making the walls thicker seemed to fix it for me.
