Stupid question, but I dont know

Hey, I was just wondering how much memory or process power simobjects take up. If I created 10,000 of them for example, other then the time it would take to make them, would they hurt the performance of the game much? This is out of curiousity more then anything, but an example of what it could be used for; as tiles in TGB aren't actual object you could create a simobject for each tile to hold some data. Anyone know? Cheers.
