DIF Exporter : QuArk

Is it possible to make a curved road in QuArk? And if so, how? I have tried everything, but I can only move vertices, or faces. They will not curve. I attempted to use the Sphere maker, and the Torus maker but I cannot make a flat road of them. Can anyone help me?

Let's see if I can straighten this out a bit. I first installed Python Minipy 1.5 in my C:\Programs directory and set it up. Then I installed QuArk 6.5.0 Beta 2.0 in my C:\Programs directory. Then I installed TORQUEmap2dif_DEBUG.exe to the C:\Programs\QuArk 6.5.0 Beta 2.0 directory. I then opened QuArk and set up the configuration and texture browser. Upon exiting, I saved the changes, but when I closed the program, there were no other actions taken. No "reading as text" messages or any kind of svaing program dialog was given. When I reopened QuArk, and created a model then tried to export it, no BSP or PRT files were created. Am I missing something? Is Python Minipy 1.5 set right, or is it conflicting with Python 2.5, which is running Blender? Or is it in my configuration of QuArk? I cannot even copy the Python Script to post it on the forum. It seems that nothing is getting saved even if I tell it to save.
I just don't understand what could be wrong here! I will try to reinstall Python and QuArk again. Thanks for any help anyone can offer.

I'm pretty sure you don't need to install Minipy anymore with QuArK.
BSP, PRT, LIN are all moot. MAP and DIF (and textures) are the only things that need to be generated during the compiling process.

David Blake may understand the issue better than I, since it looks like he dealt with this before.

I didn't deal with this problem. I dealt with a similar one with software using multiple versions of Python on a lab configuration where I work. I became the config-file king.

It's been forever since I used Quark, let alone ran into problems with it. At least not installation problems.

So I should take off Minipy if Iam using QuArk 6.5.0 Beta 2.0, and leave Python 2.5 alone? In the QuArk installation documentation it states that you need Pythonto run QuArk. I do have the most recent version of QuArk, but not installed on my system. Should I just use that one instead? Then Python 2.5 is the only one I need?

I think there may be a problem with files ending in a single numeric "street4".
Try renaming to "street_04".
Somewhere a long while age I ran into this problem.
I think it had to do with a set of objects or textures in order, like "street1", and then "street2", etc.

Worth a try.
