Hello,
I've got a quick newbie questions.
I am thinking of buying TGB and I was wondering if anyone knew the networking capabilities of the software. Mainly I am wanting to know whether or not I can have multi player games hosted on a server (e.g. deathmatches)?
Thanks!

TGB and TGE use different networking models. You can send information to the server and receive information, but it is not ghosted in the same way as TGE. You are responsible for what you send and when.

I was thinking it must use a peer-to-peer model, passing the game state from one active player to the next, but apparently not so?

I'm trying to decide between TGB and TGE. So TGB's turn-based multiplayer works with a client-server model? (Using the "lite" software that's included)? If so, how do we develop the server code? Are there tools/libraries for this, or is it just documented and it's up to us to write the code from scratch?I was thinking it must use a peer-to-peer model, passing the game state from one active player to the next, but apparently not so?
