Missing sprites for Fish Tutorial?
by idigital · in Torque Game Builder · 08/01/2007 (6:01 am) · 6 replies
I know I must be overlooking something here, but I can't find the bubble and mine sprites at all. They don't seem to be included in the fish art, the only images I can see are the fish and the backgrounds!
This issue is with the 1.5.1 trial btw.

The mine and bubble images are image 13 and 14, respectively.
Hope that helps! :)

I'm not sure if this applies to the trial version, but in the Pro version the bubble and mine sprites are part of a multiple-frame Static sprite. Once you've loaded in your fishArt resource, you should be able to see a bunch of static sprites (17 in total, IIRC). One of these will say "1/14" underneath it, which means that it contains 14 separate "frames" or images. If you right or left-click on the "1/14" piece, it should change the image that is displayed. Left-clicks move you forward through the images, right-clicks move you backwards. The mine and bubble images are image 13 and 14, respectively.
Hope that helps! :)

No, that static sprite doesn't exist in the trial version.

It is in the trial version. On mine the static sprite is a narrow fish that has 1/14 under it, as Mark stated. If you click on the part that says 1/14 you can scroll through images until you get to the bubble. Thanks,
