Help? Fps starter will not run correctly

When i try to open the fps starter kit it opens fine but i appear with a white screen (which useally does not happen) it runs slow and clunky. and when ever i try to load a missions it either 1. Crashes or 2. Opens and runs at a extremely low rate this has just started happing and i am running windows vista

    Sounds like it could be a graphics card problem. Find out if there are updated drivers for your graphics card, as you may be using MS Vista defaults.
