Hmmm... sorry.
I was making the scream of the beast...
Ok, so after some work, I finally have a first version of thr beast, provisory called Matork-the-invincible-beast-of-an-other-world-coming-to-play-in-RW.
Sure, you can just called it Matork.

Feedback are welcomed ;-)
962 polygons, no reference, 2 tons, 5 meters high, really affectuous and hating guineapig.
Pascal, what do you think of it? Do you think it is good enough for RW. I'm personnaly not sure, hard to have an objective opinion just after modeling it.
Now I'll work on the Horn alarm of Pascal and the bell of Matt. 2 models not too long to do with good concept art.

There is a platform at the back for 1/2 mage(s)/archer(s), standing or crouching and on front of it the player can simple sit on it with this type of leg position, curved (sorry my engish is too bad for explaination):

Cool looking model though, and the platform idea is appealing. You might benefit from one of those --not up on my saddle terminology here-- high backed saddles.
The closest reference shot I could find to the Citdadel miniature I remember painting 10 years ago was here.

I like it Djagg it is pretty ok. But i would have used some more poly's to define the shape a bit better make it more smooth... I would also have used an other collor for the skin maybe add some armor or stuff like that..

though im afraid i agree with Decoy...it needs for
detail/definition..the legz are too square + it needs
Xtra details like armour...+ i reckon the textures
could do with a bit more work...
Dont be put off..im jst trying to help ;)

He looks pretty cool Djagg. I'd hate to see an army of those guys coming over a hill at me! :))Phil.

I've started the armored skin of it.
And the horn model is done, Unwrap too. I have to skin it now.

That's not really gills. A simple exuberance of flesh...I've started the armored skin of it.

Besides, orcs might be closer to animals than to humans, but they still aren't suicidal and use dangerous carnivores twice their own size to ride on.

you might want to remove the fangs, since the rest of the anatomy suggests a herbivore (feet, mouth, horns). Instead of those fangs you could e.g. do dangling skin lobes (see sw ep1, sebulba's mouth).Besides, orcs might be closer to animals than to humans, but they still aren't suicidal and use dangerous carnivores twice their own size to ride on.

I also feel your pain Robert, all I could do was make boxes look totally demented myself. I've decided to leave the graphics stuff to the experts :)

-we are in a fantasy world, everything is possible :)
-this is not fangs! Look better, this is HORN located on the side of the mouth. It's used for parade. :)

@markus: the "fangs" must stay there for 2 reasons:-we are in a fantasy world, everything is possible :)

Really nice skin also.
For the fangs/horn, I think they can be use as tin openener for the steam warrior armor =;->

I like the model very much. I had just a remark on the bottom part of the legs. I find them way too flat. Just turn a little bit the "plante des pieds" or make them a more round. (That's just my opinion)Really nice skin also.

I've got an idea about this part of the model. I think it will be good with an armored leather on it.
Perhaps I could have something good with that...
Remember me to work on DoP too! :-)

I know Crazybi, but it lacks of poly on this part.I've got an idea about this part of the model. I think it will be good with an armored leather on it.
