Can't get started

I'm getting an error on trying to Create a new Torque X project in VS C# Express 2005.
Its an error dialogue box which pops up and says:
"A problem was encountered creating the sub project 'Game'. the project file 'C:\Documents and settings\jason2\Local settings\Temp\3ljt5vgt.tzb\Temp\Game.csproj' cannot be opened.
The project type is not supported by this installation."
I'm using a new user profile on my computer and Torque X was installed on this. The C# compiler was installed on another. To be honest I can't think of any other reason it doesn't work. :(
I'd be grateful for any help in solving this. Thanks.
