Making Interiors with worldcraft ..

Hhmm ... my friend is trying to use worldcraft to make some interiors for our game ... but we're not sure which file format to put em in - it has a .map exporter, but the engine comes with both .map and .dif ... so what exactly do we do?

To use in the game, you'll need to export them into .dif format. Note that once you export to this format, you cannot edit the .dif file. Any changes would have to be done in the original .map or .rmf.
Got it? :-)

To save in WC, use .map or .rmf. .RMF is only different from the Valve220 .map format in that it allows visgroups to be saved. To use in the game, you'll need to export them into .dif format. Note that once you export to this format, you cannot edit the .dif file. Any changes would have to be done in the original .map or .rmf.
