Will I be famous and rich?

I read every post in this forum but some information concerning my questions is quite old (january 07)...
I am NOT a XNA-Creators Club Member and I don't have a Xbox 360 (not yet...), but the possibilities to develop games for a console are... cool!
Enough bla-bla...
1. Am I still not allowed to sell my Xbox games?
2. Can I give them away for free?
3. Is there a platform for these user-created XNA-games where other xbox gamers can download/buy them?
4. What do I really get for 99$/year that is not available for free on the internet?:
5. Is the XNA Creators Club the right place to publish(?) my games where they draw attention from publishers (e.g. Microsoft?)
Thank you for listening to a newcomer! Zilla

Getting a game published through MS is not going to be easy. And you probabbly won't be able to do it with XNA express. It's a hobbyist engine.
What you will be able to do is make games. You may very well make something that MS will be interested in. But for publishing, you will need the profesional version of XNA along with money that is paid to MS for building and testing.
There has been words here and there stating that MS would eventually be interested in sharing games through the 360 and maybe even picking up the popular ones for distribution.
As for the 99 bucks...
for now you get to build your games and run them on the 360 and you get torquex and tgbx for free. There will be a few other creator club only programs coming out soon. Along with 360 starter kits, white papers etc...
I would read the xna team blog to get more of a handle on whats coming out.

Keep in mind that we do not control Creators Club or make the final decisions--you may want to ask these questions on the Creators Club or XNA forums as well, both of which are run by Microsoft.

Oops... I just bought the indie licence through garage games. Will I now get a free XNA membership? ;-)

Hehe..XNA is already free. The only thing that MS currently charges for is a Creators Club membership, and no unfortunately it's not a bi-directional thing.

2) Yes you can give them away for free.
3) I think right now they have to download from your website and then deploy from XNA Studio Express to the 360 (I dont have Creator's Club, so I don't know if there is a central repository)
4) I know you get the ability to play/test your game and others on the 360, I don't know about the other benefits (see the end of number 3)
5) You don't really publish your games there. You still do it either yourself, or find a publisher. XNA Creator's Club is more of a community then a publishing outlet.
