Alright so, i just downloaded a free trial of TGB on my computer. I'm on an iMac g5, and i have no programming skills AT ALL. I'm really really new to this. So anyways, I was thinking it would be cool to make a side scrolling game like mario or something. So yeah, I have a couple of questions.
Can this be done in TGB?
Does it take a lot of learning to do?
Would i be able to photoshop graphics and use them as backgrounds, characters, etc...
Would it take a bunch of code to do it?
But if you guys could point me in the right direction or give me some advice/info, I would appreciate it. A LOT. Yeahh. =]

I'm not sure what im doing wrong.
But I'm sure it could be a number of things.
The exce deal kind of confused me.
And I got a little confused on the way he worded the order to put the codes in.
Any help?
Thanks guys!

1.- yes it can be done..you can do any kind of 2d of like mario or sonic
2.- yes it will take some time specially with no programming background
3.- yes you can draw your game sprites for characters and game elements with photoshop
4.- to make something like mario 1 will take some code.. and to make something like mario world.. really really big amounts of code and tons of images
try the help files that comes with tgb..if i remember right... it comes with some examples like a whack a mole game and a usual scrolling space ship shooter
patience, perseverance and determination .. are the keys of success
cheers
