Are there any tutorials out there?

Are there any tutorials out there? I am looking for one that walks through making a building and texturing it. Also, I really need one for trees as well. Anything else would be helpful to to help me get started.

Thanks

Most of the Half-Life and Quake editing tutorials will help with brush-based construction, though the toolsets will be different than Constructor. There are some EXCELLENT Half-Life tutorials out there dedicated to texturing and smart texture reuse, etc.

Hmm.. a couple more questions.. my friend and I are creating a game in Torque. I know that with there are some restrictions with textures within the game. Will the objects I would create from the Half-Life/Quake tutorials be able to be used in Torque? Also, if so, where are these tutorials located? What I was hoping for was some tutorials designed to be used for making objects that go into Torque.

Most of the tutorials for level creation and texturing levels in Half-Life and Quake are applicable to Torque. Tutorials for modeling are a different beast.

The Valve Collective used to have some very good tutorials. PlanetQuake and PlanetHalfLife as well. Very good for brush-based editing.

If your looking for a tutorial on constructor go to www.jspivey.4t.com and go to the tutorial link and it will show you the tools and how to use them.

I guess I want a tutorial where a model is made and textured for Torque. The video was ok, but did not actually make anything or show the use of the tools
