Failing to run on a powerbook g4 titanium

by Albert Hammel · in Constructor · 06/22/2007 (3:33 pm) · 3 replies

When i run constructor, it doesn't ask for an "ignition key" or anything else, it just opens to a black window and hangs. processor usage is through the roof. has anyone else had this issue or can anyone help me fix it?

system:

Powerbook G4 Titanium 400MHz
512MB RAM
rage 128 pro video
OS X 10.4.9
way more hard drive space than i'll probably ever use

any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have a 2-year old 1.67 GHz PowerBook G4 w/1G RAM and it's not exactly snappy on it, so I imagine your 400 MHz might be a tad under-powered for doing anything useful with Constructor.

It definitely will not run on a Rage 128 Pro.

In that case, may i suggest updating the system requirements with a minimal video chip requirement aside from just "opengl capable"?

thank you for the prompt response.
