Combining mutiple interiors.

I have several art peices i got from the TA: Combo Pack1 and would like to edit a few. I dont want to do anything complicated just combine some peices. For example, there are mutiple peices to build a castle wall, i would like to combine a few into one larger peice. The art comes in the standar toque useable format and "linker address map" formats.

What program can i use to do this, and where can i find a very simple guide to teach me just enough to be able to do this?

I tried doing this with the torque constructer but when i load a peice it says, "Constructor was unable to load XX# of XXX# brushes because there were malformed" I click OK on the error message and my peice loads but it is missing parts of it, mainly spikes on the edge of the walls peices. Any idea as to why this is happening? Should i try a different program or should i just not worry about this at all? I was told its best to combine pieces like this when possible to help the FPS in game?

I have one other problem. Sometimes in the terrain editor my brush dissapears. I need the brush to scultp the terrain, but i can get it back. No idea why or what makes it happen it just does.

You can load the .map files into Constructor, 3D World Studio, Quark, etc. Your OS has them associated as linker address map files because nothing else has changed them to a correct association.

Any idea wy my brushes to edit the terrain sometimes dissapear? I think it make happen after using the terraform tool or the missio area editor.
