The 4 day challenge

I've been invited to a party which is being hosted by a bunch of venture capitalists. Not just any VCs, but ones interested in investing in new games. Have I got your attention now?

The VCs want to have a series of game videos showing on a big screen tv during the party. These game demo could lead to deals. So here comes the you scratch my back I'll scratch yours.

I'm looking for some talented individuals or a team or even a start-up that can dedicate some time in the next 4 days to create a demo. Yes, it's extremely short notice but it's the notice I was given. I have the level done as a max file. I should have a gun and jetpack for mounting on the players tomorrow. You need to have a licenced copy of TGEA, the orc and one or more other characters: Adam, Eva, or whatever (preferably Adam because I bought him already).

The demo is of a deathmatch scenario. Players can hold down space to activate the jetpack. It has a maximum burn of 3 seconds so it's really good for big jumps not flying. The gun fires once per second with unlimited ammo. there is no health. a player is either alive or dead and respawns in the sky to drop back into the game. (no damage when hitting the ground) There is only 1 gun in the game but what it does makes this game unique and I'll explain it to interested parties.

What I am offering: if I get a deal out of this then I pay you for your time and/or if I get good contacts out of this then I introduce them to you and you get the the opportunity to pitch your own game! Yes, pitch your own game to a VC who you know want to invest in a game. The 1 catch, I am based in Canada and Canadian companies are preferred for Canadian VCs, but you never know. And also, if you just want to do it in hopes of the cash and/or the fact that I'll repay the effort along the line even if this particular deal doesn't work then please do.

thanks!

From what I know, this sounds like a hoax. If you want to get some serious responses, you might have to go the extra mile and get some sort of professional third party involved to verify that these goons exist for those who are skeptical about your plan. That is, if you wanted someone like me to help, thats what i'd require. But I don't know how to program in 3d, so I'm not sure what my opinions worth.

This party is a result of the Vortex Game Competition
www.vortexcompetition.org/index.php
Some of the VCs are listed on the site. The game is a game I've entered in the comp but didn't think I'd need it at the demoable stage or I could take care of things myself. The people that I'd usually go to for this are making their own demos under this time crunch. But this is an opportunity I don't want to let pass.

@Will - Hoax? I'm insulted! :-)
