Problem With Test Code

Hi, I'm a newbie of TDE programming.I'm readind the book "3d game programming all in one" ,I'm arrived to the 4th chapter.I've entered the code of 5 modules in the example and inserted into the resources/CH4 directory (1 in root and other 4 in the control dir as explained in the book). When I execute tge.exe, a window is creted (with the title i've setted) but in this window isn't visualized the 3d test game. It's visible only a strange mix of color and if I move the mouse a red trace is leaved behind the mouse pointer (as in a drawing program :) ).
Some one can Help me. (Excuse for my english but I'm italian)
