Any know why the system requirements for the soldier pack calls out
-Valid 3D Modeller application capable of importing .3DS, .OBJ, or .MAX files for DTS & Animation shape source.
but does not come with any .3ds or obj files only max.

System Requirements

-Torque Game Engine SDK to use precompiled Torque files
-Valid .PSD, .JPEG, and .PNG editor to use and open source art files.
-Valid 3D Modeller application capable of importing .3DS, .OBJ, or .MAX files for DTS & Animation shape source.
-A .zip extracter is required to unpack the files.

Also Tridinaut says this is a GG problem and GG makes me contact Tridinaut?

Flexibile animation system!
The Soldier's animations are based on a custom skeleton created with the Torque Skeleton Generator script. This means that the character is compatible with all Torque Skeleton-based animations, and vice-versa. The joint locations file is included to facilitate the translation of animations to and from the Soldier Pack. You can use the Torque Skeleton joint locations to create an identical skeleton in either Max or Maya, animate a new sequence, export to dsq, and end up with an animation guaranteed to work with the soldier. The mesh is provided in .OBJ and .FBX formats so you can import into your favorite 3D application and modify/export as needed.

Is there a forum for the soldier pack, probably not but other than that if you can prove to me that you own it, I do:) Then i would be happy to help you with the source art including sending you models that that you can use with your particular 3d program. Any one at GG know what to do? And GG makes you contact him because part of the deal selling stuff here, you have to maintain your own stuff, and support them your self as well. For the fee you pay GG they promote and sell it, taking a huge load off your back, but dont have the man-power to support all the question with all their very different products. does that help?

Aha Blender is great It took me while to get used to after using Max since R4, Ill check my email. if you didn't specify there, which format do you prefer? I will send it OBJ, as far as im concerned it is superior in keeping the mesh intact on export without weird artifacts:)

I have a question again on the Soldier Pack. Im sure the anwser is somewhere, but I have searched for almost a day, and cant find it.

How does the distants and projection work or can be changed. My soldier becomes way to small when i move away for him compaired to the background in the starter.fps. BIG TREES AND A LITTLE MAN.
