procedures for obtaining educational license?

Hi,

I am interested in using TGE for research use. can someone give me some info on how to get the educational license please?

A friend of mine inquired to a game developer type degree at the AIE here in Australia and found out that during first year (of the two year course) the students work with the Auran Jet engine (From Auran up in Queensland). I am sure that the uni has some sort of agreement with Auran with regards to the use of its engine. I am wondering if Garage Games would consider "giving" or at least discounting a site licence to an educational institution (that has relevant field in game design / programming / art)?

This is just a question tho, not a request.
