Building multi-processor resource on Linux?

Anybody else try to build Duncan Gray's multi-processor resource under Linux? I'm getting a segfault. When I run debug I get a whole bunch of "Fatal: (core/dataChunker.cc @ 27) Data chunk too large."
This is the resource if anyone is interested:

(a) Linux programmers don't have time to read forums because they are to busy trying to get Linux to work
(b) Linux programmers can't read
(c) They scared, because they not as smart as Windows programmers
(d) They scared that Linux threads will suck compared to Windows threads
(e) They don't know what threads are
(f) They don't know how to debug code because they never had a problem with printf()
is there really a brave Linux coder out there?

Personally, I'd be pretty pleased if it performed better than on Windows, and it just might...
