Waterblock rendering

We have a rendering problem with the waterblocks and/or simple 3D objects with water animations (our cheat water). To better explain the problem, we have a simple area with a circular pool DTS object at center. Inside the circular pool are "floating" water lilies. We added a waterblock on the pool area to "fill" it up.
Both waterblocks and our 3D water object have problem rendering the correct edge of the water inside the pool DTS object we made. On the required camera angle of our game, the water effects render ON the lilies - lilies look like the water itself and follows the shape of the lilies, but there's no water lining on the inside edges of the pool. I made the camera a little bit farther away from the pool and at some point it starts to render correctly. However, those camera angles are unnacceptable for our game.
Any help or clue where I should check out? I tried tweaking the various options of waterblocks such as depth masks, environmental maps, min and maxOpacity etc.
Help.
