Can I create t2dtextobject from inside the editor?

I know how to do it from a script, but I want to create it in the editor.
I might be blind, but I cannot find the button or anywhere how to edit t2dtext objects in the level editor, yet there is a screenshot on the garage games 'what's new' page that says "game over!" and is being edited in the editor.
Any clues? :-/

Once you have an object created, "Edit this Text" is one of the pop-up buttons, right after "Change World Limits".

There's a text edit tool between the selection tool and the camera tool. Select it, then clicking anywhere in the scene and typing something will create a new text object. Then, clicking the selection tool will exit text-editing and you can do all the normal object stuff with the text. Once you have an object created, "Edit this Text" is one of the pop-up buttons, right after "Change World Limits".

Kalle, cheers for the help. Are you using 1.1.3? Maybe I should re-install it :(

That's interesting, it doesn't appear to be there on mine!! I can see the selection tool, and I can see the camera tool, but there's no tool for text stuff :-/ No wonder I couldn't find it.Kalle, cheers for the help. Are you using 1.1.3? Maybe I should re-install it :(

In the create tab, scroll right down to the bottom and in the 'other' tab you'll see 'Scene object', 'trigger', 'path' and 'text object'. Just drag them into the scene.

Anyway, I've since upgraded to the 1.5 beta, and it has magically appeared :) Ho hum, not sure why it didn't work :(
