Exporting from Max/Maya

Hello, just got the constructor, (thank god it's finally here!) and I was wondering if there is a way to export 3dsmax or Maya files into the Constructor to then make into DIF files?

I haven't installed the program yet, but I thought I'd ask before hand.

If you have Maya 3-5, you can export to .MAP files, which can be opened in Constructor. I don't know about Max, but I'm sure there must be an exporter out there. For Maya, check here: http://www.quakerally.com/files/mapexport.shtml

Unless I have done something wrong when I've exported from Maya, be aware that you actually will have to create planes (not cubes) that will export into cubes based on your wall size or thickness, or whatever that setting is in the exporter. It's quite annoying to not be able to build cubes to export.
