Constructor

Ok, I'm using constructor. I upgraded to TGE 1.5.1. So far I really like constructor. It really makes life a lot easier. however, there are still some bugs to work out.

Problem 1: If you make a solid poly or shape and then make hallow. Constructor seriously messes up the polies and the newly formed object is incomplete. Here is an example:

Example A. I'm modeling the building I'm presently in. I started with the first floor. I created a cute using the preformed cube maker. I then adjusted the cube to the size I needed. i then went to modify and made it hallow. when I do this. I then go in and remove the wall facing north. I do this cause the center of the building has a really big atrium. It's hallow all the way to the 4th floor. So it would be easier to model the building around the atrium. I find myself going back and deleting most of the secitons from the make hallow and redoing them by hand to make things right. One side I can walk through and the other side will have a texture. Yet in constructor it shows comlete. This is sort of working backwards.

I hope this helps and give me some feed back or I can help you make constructor really good.

I'm not really sure whats wrong, i had to play around with the hollow tool, it seems to be mostly for hollowing simple shapes, the more simple the better. If you want to post a pic though it might help me solve your problem, if its not related to hollow too complex a shape.;)

His images sum it up. The box appears to be solid but it's not. yet if you fire at it. It will stop the arrow. I think we might see a patch coming soon...LoL
