crashing

by Braden Moore · in General Discussion · 07/13/2002 (5:55 pm) · 8 replies

Realm wars always crashes whenever i try to start it. It doesn't even start to run. I have a ATI RADEON SDR for a graphics chip set and i was wondering if that was the problem. If it's not, do you guys have any idea why it wouldn't work.

thanks

I have all those BIOS settings, plus a tonne more set to the lowest possible settings and Torque runs fine on my machine.

I do have PC150 RAM, the PC133 would not run with all those "fast" ram settings on, it made the machine unstable.

So TGE has no limitations on BIOS settings.

KT7 RAID with Athlon 1 ghz
768MB PC150 ( KingMax ) the good stuff!
2 ( 60GB Maxtor Diamond Max Plus 7200 ) striped RAID0
Hercules Prophet 4500 64MB
Phillips Sesmic Edge Audio Card
M-Audio Delta/66 Audio Card
Netgear FA311 Network Card
Windows XP Professional

No problems with Torque, RealmWars or Tribes 2.

It will crash on start up if you don't have the right video drivers.
