Please remember i am new to this community, and that this question is primararly to do with Tribes rather than TGE itself.
How do i get the game to run through a mod directory i have tried adding (in propertys of shortcut) "-mod mymod" but for some reason i still get the original game, and when i look in the mymod directory the scripts have not been compiled and there are no .dso files, im probably missing something simple, i know that all the scripts are fine because i am running thes mods in the main game, but now that i have got a long way with the mod and its quite extensive, i realise that for distribution it would be problematic in the least, (people will want the choice of running the mod or not)
my idea is to distribute a new shortcut with the mod so they can do it that way, could someone here with the knowledge provide an overveiw on this.
Thankyou in advance
Taron

if the mod does not run with -mod Modname then check the console.log for errors. if there are any errors, the modded scripts stop running and the game will (usually) revert back to base scripts.

this is is now back up and can give you help turning-on logging if you don't have it active.
and for general mod help, prolly the best place is:

best of luck.
