Can somebody tell me if why i cant create a Start and Stop keys on my sequence object?
Ive create a simple box with a bmp texture 512x512 with a bounds around it. It works fine in the engine but if i try a simple animation i cant add the needed keys, all the tutorials gloss over this part, ihave MAX8 with the 7,8_DTSExporter so what could i be missing?

So is the object in question the sequence object or a dummy? i have already put a sequence object via the helper on the utility bar in the scene, which is the one that wont let me place a key in the start/end track. Or is their another object needed thx for the quick reply by the way

1: I have a new scene with a sphere01 object with standard material.
2: Sphere01 is surrounded by a box "bounds".
3: There is a sequence object from the DTSExorter in the scene default properties.
4: Sphere01 has a simple YAxis Animation 40 frames.
The problem comes when i try to add keys into Object(sequenceii)/sequence Begin/End. No matter how i try to add the keys (menu, button, mouse click) nothing appears on the track. Im totally stumped! i feel like just going for Milkshape instead.

Just select the add key button in the trackview dopesheet and click in the begin end track on frame 0 and on frame 40.

Torque Owner Thak
You need to create a sequence dummy object thats found under create->helpers->general dts object
then in the track vie expand the dummys tracks and theres a begin/end track where you place the two keys. ;)
