So in order to sell a game the customer has to be a paying member of the creators club right? regular xbox owners can't play the games correct?

To get around this for the couple games Last Straw has in the pipe, we are giving away source code which includes a 360 project so people who have creators club and gse can in fact play my commercial games on the xbox.

You can not sell a game for the xbox using XNA, it breaks your license agreement for xna and gse. You can only sell games for windows. To get around this for the couple games Last Straw has in the pipe, we are giving away source code which includes a 360 project so people who have creators club and gse can in fact play my commercial games on the xbox.

The FAQ just says GSE isnt designed to output commercial code, and that Game Studio Professional will be (signing etc). Are you sure its against the license agreement to sell Xbox content?

My opinion (key word 'opinion' as I'm not a lawyer) is based on the license agreement I read when I was talking with the MS XNA guys about selling people my game to put on the xbox. I'll reread it to see, but as far as I know, you can only sell XNA games for windows.

They are working on something cheaper than $100 for a year so you can share XNA games with friends/family.
On PC, this requirement isn' there (yet)
