How to get the plugin to work

How do I get the DTS exporter to work with Blender? I'm using Blender 2.43 and I've placed the script in the Blender\.blender\scripts folder. I have tried to go to the python window in Blender and pressed the update menus, but still it won't show up in the export nor the import menus. I have Python 2.4. Please help me!

I don't understand what you mean. The only thing that is Blender related in the SDK folder was the python script in SDK/Tools/Blender. If you mean that the Common_GUI.py and the others in that list should be in the Blender script map by default then there's something wrong with my Blender. I haven't found any Blender related zip file at all. So where can I get this zip file?

Here is where I'm at.
I have blender 2.43a and python 2.3
I been trying different combinations of blender/python. hoping to get something working.
First question
What version of blender are you using ?
What version of Python are you using?
I am starting from scratch again.
I'm uninstalling Torque/blender/and Python I want to start simple and just make sure I have everything I need.
I'm will start going through setting this up again, and will post my progress as I go, and maybe you'll see where my mistakes are coming in.
I'll post again once I've uninstalled everything

GreenWalt I'm having a problem. I'm reading so many threads looking for answers. I bought torque which I like. I've tried working with Maya, and now moved on to blender. I decided to go with blender. I'm slowly working at moving to 3dmax, but for the simple reason of cash flow and I'm just enjoying this as a hobby. Blender seems like a wise choice. Here is where I'm at.

Next I installed Python 2.3.5 into C:Python 23
Next I installed blender 2.42a
Next I unzipped DTSexporter 0941 into its own folder and copy and pasted the files into c: blender/.blender/script folder and it didn't over write any files.
I'll try working with this setup and see what i get

The shape has one bone, so the need for the DSQ isn't there.
The one animation is called action and when I export it into the game using the dtsexpoter.
I place my object into the game and there is no animation.

Ok the problem I was having is. I created a simple cube with a shaft connected to another cube. Just to create a simple animation. I placed a lamp, camera, my mesh, place the bone and made sure all the connection were proper . Bone,Detail32,shape being the final parent, and assuming I have everything alright. I created a 14 frame animation with keyframes at frame 1/7/and 14. The animation works fine in the action editor. The shape has one bone, so the need for the DSQ isn't there.

Ok thanks, I'll try. I just wanted to make sure my setup was correct, the problem may very well be placing the shape and the script, I had it as a static shape. Thanks for your help. I'll work with this for a few days and see if I can make something happen. I'll also keep reading up on anything I can find.
