Black and Pink visuals

When ever I try to run the Interactive walkthrough in the demo everything appears pinky/purple.
ALso if I try to run the water demo everything except the sky appears black.
Any ideas as to whats needed to resolve this.

I'm using NVidia Geforce 6600GT with the latest Nvdia Drivers

Same with ATI (9800 Pro 256MB)

that would be 93.81
They work for me quite good aside from the known TGEA <-> NVIDIA problems with pink edges at water plane borders.

Try to use the latest drivers meant for your cardthat would be 93.81

Where did you get 93.81 from?

I've just just checked Nvidias site now, and the latest drivers are 93.71 - which is what I'm currently usingWhere did you get 93.81 from?

so I assume it has been some kind of beta or intermediate ...
another thing if you have pink visuals: make sure you run the most current dx web installer from time to time. Microsoft tends to update DX in the background and drivers tend to refer to those.

I'll try what you suggested aout Direct X Marc, but to be honest I don't think I'll much luck on that front either
