Show tools pro crashes on import of dts

Hey again to everyone, I am still having problems with this exporter. now when i try and load the file into show tools pro it crashes almost instantly with no error emssage. Is tehre anywhere taht i can find this message or does anyone know why it is doing this? i am using maya 7.0

I have managed to narrow it down to my textures crashing the import as it imports when i have a standard lambert attached but i dont know why. also with the lambert attached when it does import there are loads of lines coming out of the model. can someone PLEASE help!!! :)
