Importing dts into maya

I am just wondering if there is a way to import dts files back into maya
(with the skeleton intact). example: i want students to be able add animation to the exsisting player
modeles that are supplied with a game, so they can just add say a jump
or a run cycle.

any help would be appreciated

Nope. You would need to code an importer yourself. There have been a number of topics about the benefits/drawbacks of it, but it hasn't come about.

If you look on the Maya DTS exporter pages, you will find in their file kit a character already set up. BluePlayer. Use that to generate your new animations with.
