TGBX and Vista

I downloaded and installed the Torque X Open Beta. All the project files work in XNA Game Studio Express. However I am unable to get the TGBX editor to open. (Although if I mouse over the TGBX editor in the taskbar I can see a small screenshot if the window with the registration dialog box.)
For testing purposes I installed the regular TGB editor, and it worked fine. Has anyone encountered this problem and/or have a solution to it? If I was able to change the default TGBX window to D3D instead of Open GL that may help, as I have been having some driver problems. Other than that I haven't got a clue how to fix it.

Once you do have your window working properly and you create and save a project, it will not show up in your save games folder naturally.
It has something to do with creating files that where not meant for Vista.
When in your games folder, you will see a link in the top bar that says 'compatablity mode' or something.
Click on that and you will see your saved folder and files.

In TGBX:
OpenGL driver information:
Vendor: Microsoft Corp.
Renderer: Direct3D
Version: 1.1
In TGB:
OpenGL driver information:
Vendor: NVIDIA Corporation
Renderer: GeForce Go 7900 GS/PCI/SSE2
Version: 2.1.0
Also TGB has more enabled Open GL extensions compared to TGBX

I had the sidebar disabled. Just tried turning the sidebar on, and setting it to always on top. That still did not solve the problem. I am using a Widescreen Monitor at 1366 x 768. And I have Vista's UAC Disabled, it caused more problems than it solved.

Apparently 1366 x 768 is a bad resolution. Changed to my laptop monitor which is using 1920 x 1200 and it worked fine.

I noticed that with mine, if i had the side bar sset on 'always on top', it wouldn't load properly because the res didn't match right.
I am using a wide screen.
Someone else solved the problem differently though.
You might want to do a search for vista and see what comes up if the problems not the same as mine
