Dedicated Server

Does anyone know the minimum hardware requirements for a dedicated server? I have a couple Dell PowerEdge 6450 Quad 700 1GB ram servers sitting around and it'd be nice if they were capable of running it. If not, I'll scrounge something off ebay but I'd prefer I didn't have to.

Hello .. im not an expert... but as far as i know.. it has to deal more with how much uploading band do you have ..

even if its the fastest server on earth.. if its on a dsl that has only 256 kbs' of upload.. it would be useless

cheers

I have a Comcast cable line with 6M download and 768k upload. Even so, I would think that there has to be minimum recommended hardware requirements for running a dedicated server.

Huh? A server doesn't require THAT much bandwidth, does it? In my experience with game servers , the server doesn't do very much work and shouldn't require a huge upload speed. But the Torque server system may be different than the ones I'm used to.
