Different character problems

Hey all,
I am using Ken's book demo for now untill i can get the full version.
Here is my problem,
I have created 2 different characters in blender. When i put ieather one in the Beast folder and override the old files it works just fine as the Player and the AI. But when I try to put on it a different folder with all the same files and send my player DTS extention their instead the game crashes and i get a "valadation is required for blah blah blah /player.dts."
Anyone know how i can fix this?
