Max to Quak?

I'm trying to get a model from max into quark so that I can export it as a DIF. but i cant seem to figure out how to export it from max so that i can open it in Quark. i have been looking at posts and have run across the Max2Map exporter and i think thats what i'm supposed to be using. but i cant find a max 9 version of max2map. can someone please help

Max2map was never completed to my knowledge. Game Level Builder is the way that you should go if you want to take this route. You will have to do some major tweaking to some of your models to make them brush-safe, and perhaps completely reconfigure your Max workflow. You will also have to do your texturing in Quark.
