RTS Starter and TGEA

First off, has anyone here used the RTS Starter Pack? There is one very bad review of it, and it kinda spooked me.
Also, does anyone know if you can use the RTS starter with TGEA? It seems the RTS starter is rather old, and came out long before TGEA.

Now, it is a good starting point, for the camera and a few other things, but like you read in that negative review, many of us think there should be more. In fact, only a community member put out a way to actually make it work for TGE 1.5
I'm more than upset because I purchased the commercial version of it and it is not stated any where that the product is no longer supported. The least Garage Games could do is put that on the website.
As far as working with TGEA, no it will not work in it's present state.. You would have to modify the code to get it work.
There are also some folks in the community that are working on getting somethings added to the RTS kit, including myself, but it takes alot of time.
Hope that answers your question.
Edit* @ David Blake: You and I posted at the same time, but I wanted to add that the main reason I'm upset is I found out after I purchased it that GG no longer supports the RTS Kit. I knew what I was purchasing, but from what I've read in the RTS forums they've promised for a very long time to upgrade the RTS kit and never have, hence my statement above.

Because of the way it was structured (to make it easy for users when it was released), it is more difficult to integrate into current Torque incarnations. You would definitely have to brush up on your C++ to get it into TGEA. There is a private forum post which details upgrading it to TGE 1.5, but I do not know of anything on getting it into TGEA. I may have missed those topics.
