MekTek looking for development trainee

Since GG is one of the first places I started learning about the internals of game development I figured I would post a message letting you know that we at MekTek.net are looking to bring in development 'trainee'. A good working knowledge of C/C++ is really all thats required to get the position.

Team name: MekTek.net Development Team

Brief description:
MekTek.net is a team of multi-skilled developers who are currently looking for talented individuals to join the ranks of staff. Over the past few years, we have been developing add-ons to the popular Microsoft title MechWarrior 4: Mercenaries (we are Microsoft sanctioned). We are now looking into future projects, which have brought up the need for these positions.

Target aim:
Our target aim is to build the next Mechwarrior. We have an established relationship with primary developers of previous Mechwarrior titles. Our community is self-sustained through donations from community members. However, we wish to go the next step further by producing a product which will interest many.

Compensation:
Any development licences requires will be paid for by MekTek. We will make every effort to compensate the trainee. As well all programmers will be entitled to 50% of the profit obtained by the organization. 50% for graphic artists and modelers.

Directx 9 (and 10 if released for XP), implementation of OpenGL and OpenAL further into development for Linux/Mac OSX support.

Programming Language: C++
Tools: Microsoft Visual Studios 2005 Express/Pro
Artist tools: 3d Studio Max/Maya/Lightwave *optional

Talent needed:
Experience required
* Experience in C/C++ Coding
o Experience with Object Orientated Programming
o Experience in Game Scripting
o Experience in Java programming (MekMatch)
* Experience with Application development
* Experience in Database Design

Extras

* Experience with PHP/MySQL or other Server Side scripting languages
* Experience or a working knowledge of XML
* Experience working with 3D Game Engines such as Torque and Game Development SDKs

Additional Info:
While developing modifications for Mechwarrior we have designed several high to low polygon walker models, including skeletons, animation sequences, and textures. We also have dozens of blueprint sketches of humans, buildings, vehicles, and walkers which we wish to develop. Our team has been developing several story lines. We are currently learning the Torque engine but have already made significant improvements to the rendering engine and data structure limits, these limits do not exist in today's games. We have prototyped a multi-weapons system, multiple vehicle and player classes, improving network infrastructure, and development tools. Our initial research has finished and we are ready to begin building.
