Hey guys, for those that missed it, last week at GDC we had two guys from the community representing Torque X at Microsoft's XNA competition at GDC.

Josh Butterworth created Damage Control

Jonathon Stevens and Patrick Glanville created Simian Escape

Both games turned out great and impressed the hell out of everyone involved with the competition.

Good work guys!

Simian Escape was a little buggy, I couldn't get it to install.

As it turns out, there seems to be an issue with using GSE's "publish" capability and the installer it creates, so the download linked in Zach's post above for Simian Escape isn't going to work.

You can find a .zip file containing the files you need to run the game here...just unzip the files to any directory, and run the "game.exe" file you find.

NOTE: This game does require a dual analog controller connected to your PC.

Its cool, I got a 360 controller already plugged in, I'll give it a whirl!

Simian Escape can be run just using the keyboard. ASDW to move and enter to fire rocks. (it's just not in the help file yet)

We're finishing this game over the next two weeks, so stay tuned. Once we are ready for release, we'll be releasing the game with full source. Pricing TBD.
